Amazing food, great vibes Quiet one of the kind culinary experience. Really recommend Jalapeño Poppers, Quesadillas and Tenderloin Steak. Literally the best burrito I’ve ever had outside of Mexico. It’s like a pastry chimichanga and delicious with a mouthwatering flavor (not bland, like typical burritos). The Quesadillas are very substantial… although I didn’t try it, I was able to finish my burrito completely, which was quite a bit of food. Their service is very friendly and prompt. ‘Usha’, Is very personable, offering great service. Gotta go back there on Saturday around 7 PM to check out Thai band that plays and sings Mexican music! Usha suggested making reservations, because they get quite full on that night. Just down the street from the Tastoria Hotel, one of my go to places in Bangkok in an upscale and convenient location, within walking distance from Terminal 21. 😊 ~ Mark S

The best restaurant in Bangkok. Everything was so good The staff provided kind service, and the food, service, and atmosphere were all perfect. especially pork taco is the best in the world. Absolutely smashing! This new mex-tex joint in the heart of Bangkok is unmissable. Big flavours, big portions, great service and amazing atmosphere. Went here with a couple of families and young kids for an early dinner. Kids loved the tortilla chips with salsa, and the complimentary colouring sheets with crayons. The adults worked through some nachos, jalapeno poppers (probably the largest jalapenos I have seen in my life), mozza sticks, quesadilla, and some carnitas flautas. The accompanying sauces were excellent as well and we were planning on ordering more, but ultimately were defeated by the portion sizes and just about snuck in a dessert; the chocolate brownie…which is a must try! Whoever came up with the idea for marshmallows on this gooey decadence deserves a nobel prize! Can’t wait to return! ~ vikrant k

This is THE best Mexican restaurant in Bangkok ! Do not even think about it twice. We went firstly to another place called Mexicano at the Rembrandt hotel and they were so disappointing and small tacos . Like even 3 tacos was less filling than an appetiser !!!! so anyways my partner and I had to try again . So we found rodeo mex tex bar and tap house . Better service like not even comparable and also the food was so fresh and big . 2 tacos here at Rodeo was literally 3 times the size of the other place. Needless to say the night was saved and so thankful to have found this hidden gem . So good I could go on and on . The atmosphere and the music playing was perfect , the lighting was so romantic . We had a great experience at Rodeo! My partner and I ordered 3 sets of tacos (chicken, pork neck and beef), a pulled pork burger and the rodeo burger and shared everything. We were warned it would be a lot of food and we were moved to a bigger table to accommodate the number of plates which was very funny! Our waitress, Usha, was lovely. Checked to make sure the food was good more than once and gave us complimentary limoncello tequila shots that they make from scratch in-house which was delicious and sweet. All in all a delightful experience. If you’re looking for something a bit more western in terms of cuisine because you’ve eaten far too much pad Thai and duck and rice… I highly recommend! ~ Hannah J

We hebben zalig gegeten. Het vlees is top, de bijgerechten ook goed. Heerlijke rode wijn. De medewerkers zijn super vriendelijk, zeker ook voor onze kids. We had an amazing experience at this Mexican restaurant in Bangkok. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. Our waitress was incredible — she remembered our entire order by heart which really impressed us. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the evening. The food was exquisite. Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with great care. You can really tell they pay attention to every detail, both in taste and presentation. Overall, a 10/10 experience. Outstanding service, delicious food, and a fantastic atmosphere. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bangkok! ~ Jaime G

I have to award 5 stars to this place since absolutely everything was spot on. Music was offered by a great duet of acustic guitarist and a singer playing really nice soul and american old time heats besides some latín ones. The tacos are specially tasty due to the fact that the core product is marinated delightfully, hence there is not much need to rely on any relish or salsas that of course come with it. They are large and really satisfying I highly recommend Baja taco and Al Pastor. The ceviche is just delicious and really well executed. The only little thing was the margarita that was too sour but was effectively corrected by the staff. The service was super attentive, smiling continuously and very helpful. Special thanks to Flower, Oil and Thomas. I would certainly recommend this place within the Mexican foodie scene with love music. ~ Luis F

This may be my new favourite restaurant in Bangkok! Large portions of authentic tex mex with an upmarket feel in a cosy amber-lit setting. The service is warm and enthusiastic, and the friendly Columbian-Mexican manager has a true passion. It's hard to pick highlights from the menu as it was all splendid. We tried a bit of everything and didn't need to move far from the appetisers menu, skipping over mains and landing on dessert. But if I'm forced to choose then the massive baked banana pie was gorgeous, but so were the pork tacos, ceviche, carnitas flautes, and jalapeños poppers. A great night. Rodeo was hell of a ride! Stunning gem in the end of soi 20, a new tex mex in town. Where to start? Amazing original flavors where everything is home made at very affordable prices. The flavors are like music in mouth from a real guacamole, to genuine pork neck tacos to seabass ceviche. The staff was very attentive. Kitchenware makes you feel in a lost hacienda in Mexico, and don't forget the margarita that was probably one of the best I had. Keep some space for desert for their signature baked banana pie.🤤 I only regret not having enough space in my stomach to try more dishes. Highly recommended and can't wait to comeback again. ~ Alexandre D

This is a an aesthetically pleasing restaurant. The mood lighting is set for having a romantic dinner. This two storied airy floor plan surrounds a luxurious seated bar area that is very well stocked. I also appreciated the sound system here. It is obvious the owners put a a lot of thought behind this concept. This restaurant is billed as Mex Tex restaurant, whatever that is. I had the burrito which was deep fried and an order of chips and salsa with an addition of guacamole. The burrito was similar to a chimichanga. Very crispy. Not really to my taste and the red salsa also was a bit of a let down. The menu, however, looks fantastic and I want to return to try some of the other dishes. Also, the service is outstanding. The servers really know how to be attentive without being overbearing. A rare thing here. This restaurant is deserving of all of the good reviews it has received. ~ John B

Rodeo has an excellent selection of Tex Mex food, the music is upbeat and the lighting/decor is very welcoming. The Ceviche was well garnished and very flavorful. The Street Tacos were beautifully cooked with a very nice soft texture. And to top it off, the Beef Tenderloin was cooked to a perfectly done medium rare topped with a delicious chipotle butter. They have a nice selection of red wines which went well with the meal. I would certainly recommend Rodeo as a destination dinner location for those looking to be well fed and entertained in a ambient environment. ~ Geoff M

What a wonderful restuarant! After being in country for a while and my “tii rak" (my love) wanting to try some mexican food, we headed to this place hoping for the best. Well, we found out the choice was perfect. The food and drinks were excellent. (Hint: go during Happy Hour for their two-for-one drink specials! You’ll thank me for it.) Lastly and mostly especially the staff. We want to thank you all, but in particular, Flower. She was so kind, attentive, absolutely and geniuinely focused on our dinning experience. We will be back. Excellent meal last night at this new addition to the Sukhumvit food scene (formerly the Smokin Pug). Rodeo takes off with excellent Nachos, a formidable Burrito (my buddy said it was awesome), I had the Chicken Burger which was probably in my top 3 all time burger rating, Wagyu Burger also excellent, kids absolutely loved the Chicken Quesadilla. We finished off with a Dark Choc Brownie that is made fresh and takes about 15mins to prepare - damn good... Guinness also served... Can't wait to go back. ~ Jay B

I really like this new venue and great location for me , I drink Guinness or ciders so it hits the spot Great staff Jordan is an absolute star ! Other staff were great , smart and switched on , I would also like to see Peroni on draught or another beer maybe Spanish ? I’ve been Here 2 times and enjoyed the atmosphere both times 1st time the jalapeño poppers were inedible too tough to chew and had to leave them , boring was fine but filling was very scarce ! I also would love to see churros as a desert 2nd visit I had the beef enchiladas and chips / nachos The cHips were great but a really small portion and not cheap The enchiladas tasted great and a massive portion They were not as I expected as were filled with rice too but were delicious I wish the guys and staff well as it truly feels great but reading The reviews maybe there is some stubbornness from the kitchen department ! Exceeding expectations imho is the key to success for this type of business as it can be crucified by social media Thankyou I will be back! ~ Alan P

Je recommande vraiment ! Ambiance très amicale, tout le personnel est adorable, les serveuses et les barmans K. BIRD et K. Nut sont vraiment super et font fes cocktails exceptionnels (même en dehors de la carte). Les meilleurs tacos que nous avons mangé. Allez-y ! ~ Roni
